100% Monastrell
Each parcel of land is independently vinified prior to blending in order to obtain the best possible result contingent upon soil and barrel type. After a strict selection, grapes are refrigerated at 5Âș C. Between 8 and 12 months in 100 % French oak barrels of varied sizes and uses. Neither clarified nor filtered.
Tasting Notes
Purplish colour with reflections of youth. Red berry fruit aromas such as blackberry and violets predominate. Barrel ageing is barely noticeable thereby allowing the grapes to play a leading role. The first taste reveals an intense, sincere flavour, full-bodied, mineral and fruity.

Monastrell grapes from 6 different vineyards in San Agustín and San José, all sandy and near the sea.

Once destemmed, grapes are allowed to fall into open vats where they ferment at moderate temperatures below 25Âș C. Daily lees stirring (a process known as bĂąttonage) until final pressing.
