Wine Tastings at Ibizkus

One of our formal tasting options, you'll try 4 different wines from the Can Bassó and Ibizkus labels, accompanied by olives, almonds and potato chips.

We'll start with a 10-minute presentation about the winemaking history of the island, its autochtonous grape varieties and our philosophy of sustainable winemaking. As we serve each wine, we'll explain the grape varieties used and how it is made.

Our pairing option includes a tasting of 4 wines from the Can Bassó and Ibizkus labels, paired with a cheese platter (local and Manchego cheeses) served with quince jam, honey, walnuts and crackers, followed by a platter of Iberian ham, pork loin and "salchichón" served with fresh bread and grated tomato with olive oil. To start off your tasting, you'll also get olives, almonds and potato chips.

Our premium option includes a tasting of 4 wines from the Ibizkus and Totem labels.

Totem wines are minimal intervention wines produced from single parcel vineyards or ungrafted vines (Monastrell and Malvasia). They are our version of "Author's wines" and most accurately reflect the ibicencan terroir.

The pairing consists of:

• A cheese platter (local and Manchego cheeses) with quince jam, honey, walnuts and crackers. Served with the white wine.
• A slice of "Coca Ibicenca" (a typical flatbread with red peppers and olives) with the rosé wines.
• A platter of Iberian ham, pork loin and "salchichón" served with fresh bread and grated tomato with olive oil. Served with the red wine.

Our "rosé lovers" with pairing includes a tasting of our 4 rosé wines from the Can Bassó, Ibizkus and Totem labels, paired with a cheese platter (local and Manchego cheeses) served with quince jam, honey, walnuts and crackers, followed by a slice of salmon & leek quiche. To start off your tasting, you'll also get olives, almonds and potato chips.
